Tres Ojos Garnacha 2006 [Red]
Producer: Bodega San Gregorio
Region: DO Calatayud

This young garnacha-based red from Calatayud is reliable year after year, an excellent value, and a fine quaff. Good on its own, with a backyard barbecue or even as the base for a wine cooler or sangria. Very good.

Bright cherry red color with a violet tint. Great fruit-driven nose (red berries) with a nice brushy/spice undercurrent. Fresh and fruity on the palate (strawberry/raspberry) with peppery/dry herb spice. Nice and sweet on the finish.

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
