Arzuaga Gran Reserva 2014 [Red]
Producer: Bodegas Arzuaga

95% tempranillo, 5% cabernet sauvignon & merlot grown on old bush vines, clay/limestone soil. Hand selected grapes are fermented in tanks, malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels, nurtured 24 months in French oak.

Silky tannins, balanced acidity, ripe berry fruit & an intriguing nuance of spices (nutmeg/tumeric/sage). Long, complex, a winner and a keeper.
