Casa Castillo Monastrell 2021 [Red]
Producer: Casa Castillo
Region: DO Jumilla

Mainly monastrell with a bit of garnacha & syrah. Organically grown on sandy/rocky soils in the La Valle vineyard. Nurtured for 8/9 months in neutral 500 liter French oak barrels and foudres.

Nice aromatics: red berries, grassy dry reeds and herbs with a hint of smoke, leather & spice.
Medium weight, balanced with cherries/raspberries and plums, fluid tannins, a lasting pleasure driven finish. Excellent and a superb value.

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
