40% cabernet sauvignon, 30% garnacha, 30% merlot from Escudero's Hacienda Logos Finca la Sarda, nurtured 16 months in new oak barrels (70% French, 30% American), rested 12 months in the bottle cellar before release.

Deep dark color, blueberry/blackberry fruit with plums, chocolate and toasty oak.
Serious dose of oak, but not excessive, ripe fruit (plums), lively tannins and a lengthy finish. Excellent bottle of wine that should cellar well.
