Finca Martelo 2016 [Red]
Producer: Torre de Oņa
Region: DOC Rioja

95% tempranillo, 5% others (mazuelo, garnacha, viura) from the Finca Martelo vineyard. Nurtured 24 months in oak barrels: 80% American, 20% French, bottled in June 2020.

Deep dark cherry red color, blueberries & cherries, spice (clove/cardamon) and a pleasant earthy/fennel scent.
Smooth, easy going tannins, berries & beeswax. Nice bottle of wine.

Torre de Oņa, an estate property in Páganos, is part of the La Rioja Alta, SA group of wineries.
