Pago Florentino 2018 [Red]

100% tempranillo (they call it cencibel) grown on the pago's Finca Solana in Malagón, La Mancha. Nurtured 12 months in French & American oak barrels before bottling.

Fruit & spice: blackberry/blueberry & cherries, nutmeg/cinnamon/vanilla) and a background scent of toasted oak, chocolate/coffee.
Smooth & tasty on the palate, serious/smooth tannins, fruit, spice, chocolate, nice persistence. Excellent.

Pago Florentino is part of Arzuaga, the Ribera del Duero winery founded by Florentino Arzuaga some 30 years ago.
