Luis Caņas Crianza 2017 [Red]
Producer: Luis Caņas
Region: DOC Rioja

95% tempranillo, 5% garnacha, nurtured 12 months in oak barrels (60% French, 40% American). A Rioja Alavesa classic, excellent value.

Dark berry fruit (blueberry/blackberry/Bing cherry), bright & fresh with a nice spicy background (vanilla/cinnamon) and a hint of smoke & autumn leaves.
Nice balance between sweet, well ripened fruit and crisp acidity. Pleasant mouthfeel, smooth, easy to drink with a lasting finish. Very good, a keeper.

A longtime personal favorite that always shows well. Great bang for the buck!

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
