Palacio de Bornos Verdejo 2011 [White]
Producer: Palacio de Bornos (BCCV)
Region: DO Rueda

Year after year, Palacio de Bornos delivers a first rate Verdejo. The 2011 vintage is no exception, an excellent example of what the Verdejo grape can provide. A wine full of flavor and an excellent companion to a wide range of dishes.

Nice pale straw color. Great nose with upfront citrus (grapefruit/orange) and ripe fruit (mango/apricot), grassy spice (lemongrass/thyme). and orange zest. On the palate it's fresh and bright, mirroring the aromatics with good body and length. Great all around wine, with or without food.

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
