El Cortijillo 2011 [Red]
Producer: Vinicola de Castilla
Region: DO La Mancha

Made from 100% Tempranillo grapes, this is low cost, easy drinking gem from La Mancha. There's no oak, just bright fresh fruit, clean & crisp. Very good and a terrific value.

Bright cherry red color, not too dark. The nose is all fruit: cherry, raspberry & blueberry. On the palate it's a berry fruit cocktail with nice, crisp acidity. No rough edges, and a pleasure to drink.

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
