Convento Oreja Roble 2010 [Red]
Producer: Convento Oreja
Region: DO Ribera del Duero

100% Tempranillo, aged 4 months in a mix of French and American oak. This is an excellent example of a "short-aged" Ribera with plenty of fruit and a nice touch of oak. Well made and a pleasure to drink. Very good.

Dark purple/red color, looking very young and fresh. Bramble berries (blackberry/raspberry) and well integrated clean oak spices predominate the nose. On the palate it's smooth with ample berry fruit, balanced oak, ripe tannins and a nice long finish.

A note to our readers:
I've used SRP, which is the normal price in Spain expressed in US dollars [Low=$5-9, Medium=$10-18, High=$19+]. The wines selected are usually moderately priced and generally exported around the world. Some exceptions happen...
