Finca Higueron
The
perfect
'get away from it all'
holiday location

We
had a fantastic time at Finca Higueron. It normally takes me at least a week
to wind down, but here I was relaxed instantly. The welcome is warm, the accommodation
spotless and fully appointed. The surrounding area is unspoilt and ripe for
exploration. Beaches and local restaurants are truly excellent You never tire
of the views from Finca Higueron and watching the sunset whilst sipping a
glass of wine is one of life's real pleasure.

After years of holidaying we have finally found
paradise. This place has it all and you can do as much or as little as you
please The views from the beautiful cottages are absolutely breathtaking and
go a long way to help you relax and unwind.you can sit on the patio in the
evening and see some spectacular sunsets, it is such a romantic place.. But
there is also lots to do just ask Tad and Val who are very special hosts and
have expert local knowledge and I'm sure like us you will have a perfect holiday

We
wish to thank you for helping to make our holiday most pleasurable. Not only
was the cottage the best self catering accommodation we have ever experienced,
the whole package you offer is 2nd to none. The 'personal touch' made our
anniversary unforgettable. The afternoon at Montenmedio and then the evening
at Venta Rufino were highlights, but just being at Finca Higueron 'did it
for us!'

The
one thing that we noticed as soon as we arrived at Finca Higueron was the
feeling of space, the sharp light and the clear fresh air. All this along
with the peace and quiet, we had absolutely no problem sleeping - we just
couldn't wake up. Your vegetable garden, with all those Mediterranean vegetables,
was a great bonus for me being vegetarian. Also, we couldn't find fault
with the virtually empty sandy beaches, at El Palmar and Trafalgar. We had
a great time visiting Cadiz, especially the market, the Roman ruins and the
good cheap local eateries. Our holiday could have only been better if we
had stayed longer.
Dave and Val,

We
had a great time and really enjoyed our stay, and will definitely recommend
you to friends and family (Ian)
I know Ian has emailed but just wanted to drop you a quick line also to
thnk you both for such a lovely break, we really enjoyed it. Being back
at work in cold London doesn't really compare! (Jenny)

We loved the peaceful and tranquil location, the warmth of your welcome
along with the helpful advice about the area. We were impressed with the
quality of the accommodation and the discretion of our hosts. You struck
just the right balance between privacy and friendliness.

The view, the pool, the DVD player, the peace and quiet and the fresh vegetables were great; and everything was so clean! James and Emma
Got back to work and now your place is the wall paper on my office PC. Great place, see you next year. Richard and Jan
Our stay couldn't have been improved, is was all we had hoped for. Karen and Linda
Your hard work has paid off, you've done a really good job. The peace and the views of the area are great.

We felt the cottage was perfect.

The
"casitas" are comfortable, well equipped and very clean, and the garden kept
neat and tidy. Val's vegetable garden has provided us with some fantastic
produce from fiery chilli peppers to enormous red cabbages!
The
views are spectacular from the hilltop - the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, the
Trafalgar lighthouse, Conil de la Frontera, and the distant docks at Puerta
Real, all in one panoramic sweep. The sunsets are beautiful as well.
Tad and Val are excellent hosts, and are always happy to give up-to-date information
about local events, customs and fiestas, as well as what to see and the latest
good restaurant or venta they have discovered.
We've already spent two holidays at the Finca Higueron, and we are now looking
forward to returning in April to enjoy Spring in the Province of Cadiz.
