Not only was the cottage the best self catering accommodation we have ever experienced, the whole package you offer is 2nd to none. The 'personal touch' made our anniversary unforgettable. The afternoon at Montenmedio and then the evening at Venta Rufino were highlights, but just being at Finca Higueron 'did it for us!'

We had a fantastic time at Finca Higueron. It normally takes me at least a week to wind down, but here I was relaxed instantly. The welcome is warm, the accommodation spotless and fully appointed. The surrounding area is unspoilt and ripe for exploration. Beaches and local restaurants are truly excellent You never tire of the views from Finca Higueron and watching the sunset whilst sipping a glass of wine is one of life's real pleasure.

After years of holidaying we have finally found paradise. This place has it all and you can do as much or as little as you please The views from the beautiful cottages are absolutely breathtaking and go a long way to help you relax and unwind.you can sit on the patio in the evening and see some spectacular sunsets, it is such a romantic place.. But there is also lots to do just ask Tad and Val who are very special hosts and have expert local knowledge and I'm sure like us you will have a perfect holiday

Not sure if Richard has already emailed you but I just wanted to say a big thank you for your kind hospitality. We did take your suggested route and stopped for breakfast in the venta you mentioned! It was my last opportunity to speak Spanish!

I know that Alison has already emailed you, but I just wanted to add my personal thanks following our stay with you. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and you assistance and knowledge of the area was really appreciated.

What a welcome we found with Tad at the gate to direct us in and open the doors our villa. It was so good to see on entry, this place is good, clean and spacious, everything we needed,

What we found was absolute peace and relaxation, routine non existent from day one, I think we finished breakfast about 11:30, we were only motivated to move from the patio to venture out for essential food and drink, being informed that on Sunday's choice was limited. Just ten minutes in the car and we had all we needed, having never been a fan of Aldi back in the UK, but when in Spain!.

For us El Olivo is perfect, all we needed was provided. Tad and Val's hospitality was excellent, there if you needed them for advice, directions and generously some of the garden surplus. Will we come again !! to right we will, in fact it's booked already.

Thank you for a wonderful holiday your friendliness made us feel very much at home and relaxed. We have had a lovely restful break with the pressure well and truly off. That is very much down to the two of you and the wonderful Finca Higueron site.

We had a lovely week at Finca Higueron. The place is just perfect for relaxing. Amazing surroundings and breathtaking views. And so quiet! Tad and Val were the best travel agency with their tips of nearby sights and restaurants. It really made a difference that they were always there to help in case we wanted to know something. They also prepared a great chipping range in the yard which we used to warm up before playing the areas nice golf courses. And where else would you get fresh herbs and vegetables straight from the garden!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Finca Higueron - both the accommodation and setting/surroundings exceeded our expectations. The "casita" was perfect for us and we really can't think of anything to add that hasn't already been said by previous guests.

We wouldn't hesitate to recommend you to anyone, nor to return ourselves. I imagine that a slightly out of season break in late spring/autumn would be great too. Val's veggie garden was also a treat for us and I have been telling everyone how wonderful the fresh figs were

Our time here seemed to fly by, we wish we had longer. The location is fantastic, just a few kilometres from the coast but in a beautiful rural setting with views which go all along the coastline from Cape Trafalgar virtually up to Cadiz, and with views of Africa in the distance. The Finca was all we hope for and more, spotlessly clean, and with everything you might need. Tad and Val make you most welcome, and will help with any directions or local knowledge. The beaches are some of the best we have been on and we have travelled far and wide.

Fortunately the area has not yet been discovered by the package tour companies

Your garden, with all those free Mediterranean vegetables, was a great bonus for me being vegetarian. Our holiday could have only been better if we had stayed longer.
